Two Of The Country's Most Kid-Friendly Restaurants Are Here In Boston

Open Table recently released their picks for the 50 Most Kid-Friendly Restaurants in the US.

According to their research, Moms and Dads in the greater Boston area have two great options to choose from: Fire + Ice in Back Bay and Maggiano's Little Italy in the Theater District.

The online restaurant reservation service scoured tens of thousands of online reviews for the terms, "Child Friendly" and "Kid Friendly" in order to compile their list.

As parents know, not all kid friendly restaurants are created equal. You want a place to go that will not only entertain your child, but also be an enjoyable evening out for the adults.

Fire + Ice, for those who have not been, features a large grill where chefs prepare the food you select.

Picky kiddos not only get to choose their meal, the chefs' entertaining preparation will keep their little minds busy until it's time to eat!

First stop is the food bar where you choose your protein and veggies, then on to the sauces. Finally, you head back to your table where your creation is made right in front of your eyes.

So whatever flavor you might be craving, Mediterranean, Mexican, Asian, or a special combination - it's all at your fingertips!

Maggiano's Little Italy is a little different, but still child friendly. This family-style Italian restaurant is more then equipped to keep the little ones entertained.

Their Little Chefs birthday bash lets the kids prepare their own meal - with a little help from a Maggiano's chef, of course!

Once the meal is cooked and eaten, the party gets to enjoy the sundae bar - what could be more kid-friendly than that?

At both locations parents are encouraged to make reservations for larger groups.
