The Celtics will be back!

OK, so the Celtics lost on Sunday.

This is the world we live in. We have to accept it. It’s like then the McRib goes away for a bit. Is it unfortunate? Yeah. It is. Absolutely! But, you know what? Life goes on. We keep living in hopes of a better tomorrow. Will it ever happen, we don’t know.

It’s not what you want to see. Not one bit. It also leads you to wonder some things. Not only do you want to know the meaning of life now, but some people might think the NBA is rigged and all that. The theory definitely is interesting and all of you can have your own ideas there. It was just frustrating to watch the Celtics miss so many 3-pointers in the fourth quarter there. Plus everyone’s favorite 2000 Green Party Presidential nominee pretty much admitted the NBA was rigged, so it must be true--because no politician ever has lied.

But let’s be real: the Celtics didn’t have Kyrie Irving or Gordon Hayward for that matter in game seven. Imagine how the game may have gone down if they did have those two fellas. Better yet, imagine what the team will look like WHEN those two guys are playing side-by-side next year. A starting lineup could feature them plus Al Horford, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. If that doesn’t make you feel good, then I don’t know what will because that’s pretty amazing.

The only downside to it all is that the Celtics only have one pick in this upcoming NBA Draft and Cleveland has the eighth overall pick but honestly, who cares? The Celtics have a really strong starting five coming back. Let’s just be excited about that for now.
