Take This Burger Tower Challenge In Brighton

Brighton has a reputation as a wild college town and you may very well need an undergrad's appetite to conquer one of the Challenge Burgers at Eagle's Deli.

The restaurant's most monstrous stack of meat consists of 5lbs of hamburger, 20 pieces of bacon, and 20 pieces of American cheese.

But that's not all. If you are to beat the Burger Tower Challenge, you must also consume 5 pounds of fries, 1 deli pickle, and a fountain soda - all in under an hour!

Should you succeed, your meal is free, and you will receive a special t-shirt, $100 cash, and a whole lot of street cred!

You may even get a burger stack named after you and the satisfaction of having the next competitor tackle even more beef than you faced. The deli's current 5-pounder is called the Furious Pete for a reason!

Those who fail - or choose to share their family-sized burger with their fellow diners - must pay the burger stack's menu price of $59.99.

Eagle’s Deli & restaurant is a retro-style diner with an absolutely gargantuan menu to match their massive burgers.

And speaking of massive burgers, the Furious Pete has some competition of its own. There's the Paul Jones, which is a bit lighter with "only" four pounds of burger, no bacon, and a mere sixteen pieces of American cheese.

The Reilly Burger comes with three pounds of burger and twelve pieces of American cheese, and the Cowabunga is made with two pounds of burger and eight pieces of American cheese.

Each of these giant burger stacks comes with half a pound of fries, one deli pickle, and a fountain soda.

As if that weren't enough, Eagle's also features traditional sized burgers in 10 different varieties like the spicy Inferno Burger and the Brunch Burger, topped with a fried egg, bacon, and Provolone cheese.

Of course, these burgers only come with a meager 1/2 pound of Angus beef.

Not in the mood for a burger? How about a famous Eagle's Deli sandwich? They offer a wide array of wraps, reubens, and hot options.
