The Little Dipper Diner Is Small But Mighty With A Fun Outer Space Theme

The Little Dipper Diner in Jamaica Plain is a quirky, fast-growing food stop for locals and their guests. The astronomy-themed eatery opened its doors in 2018 and quickly became a must-try.

The cozy space features dark painted floors, bright turquoise wainscoting, framed prints of vintage space travel posters, and an open ceiling dripping with model rockets.

Little Dipper serves creative breakfast specialties starting at 7:30 each morning, and brunch on the weekends.

The delicious selections are anything-but-typical! Try the spicy "Huevos Rancheros" with over-easy eggs, black beans, Monterey jack cheese, avocado, tortilla, cilantro and salsa.

The "Ground Control" is aptly named in keeping with the space theme. It includes over-easy eggs, cheese, spinach, and avocado aioli served on an English muffin.

Not feeling brave? Little Dipper also offers simpler, more traditional breakfast options like eggs, toast, home fries and traditional breakfast meats, as well as daily homemade "doughnut-of-the-day" specials!

If you cannot make it to Little Dipper's coveted brunch, the popular establishment also serves lunch and dinner options including burgers, salads, chicken and fish.

Despite the diner atmosphere, you can also grab a glass of wine, beer, or refreshing cocktail to complement your meal.

If you are in Jamaica Plain, be sure to stop by, but arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table. Don't worry, the delicious food and cozy atmosphere are worth it!
