Skip The Freedom Trail & Check Out This Tipsy Chocolate Trail

For Anne Wright, self-proclaimed chocolate expert and the founder of Boston's Tipsy Chocolate, making and talking about chocolate all day is her dream job.

She began her career leading chocolate tours in New York City, and continued this path after moving to Boston. Now, Wright teaches classes and leads tours that combine her chocolate expertise with perfect wine and liquor pairings.

Tipsy Chocolate offers two-hour walking tours through Boston's best chocolate hotspots - with a bit of history thrown in for good measure.

Choose from the Back Bay Walking Tour, offered Saturdays from 12:30 - 2:30 PM and the Beacon Hill Walking Tour, Saturdays from 3:30 - 5:30 PM.

You'll enjoy exquisite confections from each spot, including decadent champagne truffles.

Beer-infused chocolates, anyone?

Your tour guide will provide the perfect pairing options - from red wine to Baileys Irish Cream - to go with each chocolatey treat.

She'll also regale you with stories of chocolate's rich (pun intended) history and how it relates to Boston.

At the end of the tour, each guest is treated to a cocoa-based cocktail - or "chocktail" - at no extra charge!

If you love your tour, consider booking a tipsy truffle making class! One of Tipsy Chocolate's expert chocolate makers will come right to your home and teach you and your friends to make your own decadent truffles with your choice of two boozy centers!
