Bookery in Manchester, New Hampshire is a dream come true for bibliophiles like myself. Not only do they offer a wide selection of new and used books, the shop has all sorts of cozy nooks to cuddle up and read with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
The shop is home to an eclectic assortment of literary genres including mainstream, classics, and lesser known titles. Don't see the book you are looking for? Just ask and the staff will order it for you!
Bookery Manchester also has a wonderful gift section filled with puzzles, bookmarks, book lights, printed socks, scented candles, t-shirts, pins, art supplies and other book-themed merchandise. Grab a card and take advantage of Bookery's gift wrapping service and you are good to go!
For some, the best part about Bookery is that they serve local draft beer and wine choices as well as an assortment of snacks and light bites from the cafe.
All of the creative cafe offerings are made locally and delivered weekly from Angela's Pasta & Cheese Shop. There are sandwiches and salads as well as handmade baked treats, coffee, and tea.
An outdoor dining space has been set up to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
Bookery is also a haven for local artists and performers. They offer live events such as author chats, live music, story time and crafts for kids, and workshops.
