Oysters on the half shell are a staple at many New England restaurants. Many even offer them for just a dollar a piece - if you know where and when to find them, that is!
Read on to find out which of your favorite Boston restaurants offer this sweet - or should I say, salty - deal!

1. Back Bay Social Club
Tough day at the office? Head over to Back Bay Social Club on Boylston Street for dollar oysters every Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 PM! They serve them Boston-style on the half shell with cocktail sauce and horseradish.
2. Boston Chops in the South End
Boston Chops is a delicious steakhouse with locations in the South End and Downtown Crossing. Every Sunday, the South End restaurant serves delicious dollar oysters with a mignonette, lemon, and horseradish from 3 to 5 PM.
3. Eventide Fenway
Sadly, Eventide's dollar oysters are only offered on Red Sox home weekend game days from 9 to 11:30 PM. If you can't get into the Fenway area during the World Series, there's always next year!
4. Il Molo
Il Molo is Italian for "the pier." This North End Restaurant is located on the beautiful waterfront and features oysters on the half shell for a buck each every Monday through Friday from 4 to 5:30 PM. Unlike others on the list, Il Molo offers a variety of oysters from both the East and West coasts and serves them with a mignonette and cocktail sauce.
5. Les Zygomates
This popular French restaurant features dollar oysters on the half shell with cocktail sauce, horseradish, mignonette, and lemon on Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 7 PM. Note: Only the East Coast oysters are available for the discount.
6. Puritan & Company
You'll find the trendy Puritan & Company in Cambridge's Inman Square. Although their oyster special is only offered on Tuesdays from 5 PM until closing, their incredible cocktails and dessert offerings are enough to get you through the door any day of the week!
7. State Street Provisions
Oyster lovers rejoice! This rustic, contemporary restaurant conveniently located near the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway features dollar oysters every single day from 4 to 6 PM, served with your choice of a cucumber and pink peppercorn mignonette or cocktail sauce!
